Whole30 Meal Planning-Week 2
Week two is over! I successfully completed 2/4 of the Whole30 program without any cheats and slip-ups. This week was still hard. The book says you are most likely to cheat on Day 10 and 11 which happened to be Thursday when I had tickets to the Blues game. It wasn’t easy, but I was proud of myself for sticking to Whole30!
- Monday: Whole30 Chili | Paleo Chile
- Tuesday: Whole30 Pasta made with Whole30 Zoodles
- Wednesday: Whole30 Fajitas over a salad with guacamole
- Thursday: Brad and I enjoyed the St. Louis Blues game with beers flowing around us. I ate steak over salad with oil and vinegar. It was hard, but I at Whole30 compliant. 🙂
- Friday: Whole30 Fish Taco topped with Whole30 Avocado Cilantro Sauce accompanied by Whole30 Lime Slaw Mix
- Saturday: Bunless Burger topped with Whole30 Burger Sauce with a side of Whole30 Sweet Potato Chips
- Sunday: Family Dinner which means no cooking! I did master Whole30 Mayo today.
This week taught me that you really do need a support system with Whole30. It is hard to do this path on your own as there are so many spots you can trip up. Plus, it is nice to split doing the dishes with someone as I have never done so many dishes in my life. The Whole30 community pokes fun at the large amount of dishes you will do. Just remember when you are elbow deep in suds, eating Whole30 cuts out the convenience of prefabbed, but ensures you are taking care of your body as you should. We only get one life and one body so take care of it!
