I have hit this magical stage that the Whole30 calls Tiger Blood!
People at work think I have lost it as I keep telling them, 3 more days until Tiger Blood hits as if is common knowledge. Of course, everyone at work was eager to know how Tiger Blood day one was going. I even had a phone full of Tiger blood memes which include the beauty to the right.
Well, here is the truth. I don’t think my Tiger Blood stage is like the light switch that the book described. The crazy dreams have ended, and people are starting to notice that my waist and face are thinner. This is always an awesome feeling, but I assumed Tiger Blood stage would feel different. For goodness sakes, Whole30 called it something so bad ass.

Whole30 Shrimp Lo Mein
As a practicing Catholic, we abstain from meat on Fridays during Lent. For someone who is doing Whole30, this can be a bit tricky as I have already given up so many food groups. A normal Catholic in a pinch would slap together a PBJ sandwich for lunch and a fish fry for dinner, all of which is not Whole30 approved. Have no fear; I have another delicious meatless Whole30 dinner for you.

To say I love Chick-Fil-A Chicken Nuggets is an understatement. I am obsessed! I even tried to convince my husband to have them cater our wedding. It would have been a dream come true. Surrounded by those who loved me in a gorgeous dress and eating my favorite food. I was vetoed which was probably the right decision as crystal chandelier and chicken nuggets just don’t mix. Whole30 Ketchup
I won’t lie Whole30 Ketchup is not the same as the processed, sugar saturated version we are used to eating. It opens your eyes to how much sugar is in your standard store bought ketchup. Our version of Whole30 ketchup cuts out all the sugar so it has a stronger vinegar and tomato tang that you will find refreshing and fulfilling after killing the sugar beast on Whole30.
Since I love Whole30 Ketchup, I served the condiment with a lot of meals: Whole30 Meatloaf, Whole30 Steak Fries, Whole30 Sweet Potato Chips, Whole30 Meatloaf and Whole30 Chick-Fil-A Chicken Nuggets. I have an obsession with condiments and Whole30 Ketchup gives me a healthier option to feed my vice. Plus, everything is better with a little Whole30 Ketchup. 🙂

Whole30 Greek Meatballs
Today is the last day of I dream of junk food! It has been a long three days filled with sugar plum dancing through my dreams. Last night, I did a lovely tango with a slice of pizza who dropped me in a fountain of wine. Oh yes, the dreaming of food stage had gotten a bit out of hand. Thankfully, the Whole30 book says this will end tomorrow. I pray that it does as I can’t take another wacky night of dancing food.
For dinner, I made a healthy twist on one of my favorite meals. The Whole30 Greek Meatballs were as filling as a gyro with a fraction of the calories. I paired it with a dairy free Tzatziki sauce that was to die for! Happy Cooking!
