Outfits For Your Father’s Day Outing
Before I tell you all about Outfits For Your Father’s Day Outing, I need to gush a bit about my Dad. The relationship my Dad and I have is not the typical situation as it started in the most unusual way. Here is the short version.
I was born in the backseat of the family car on the way to the hospital. Maybe one day I will include all the details in a post, but for now, you just need the facts. This means the first person to ever touch and hold me was my Dad. This is a bit unusual as most mothers-to-be have a doctor, nurses and a sterile room to give birth. Well, not these two… no wonder I am the youngest. 🙂
From there it has always been the two peas in a pod. My Dad is always first phone call for big life news or crises to get advice on how to handle it. He is my best friend and my biggest fan. I even have picked up his bad habits such as needing someone to go grocery shopping with! Everything is better with a friend. 🙂 On Father’s Day, it will be all about this guy and show him some much-needed love. If you are still in need of a Father’s day plan and outfit, check out our three fabulous outfits for your Father’s Day Outing. You have plenty of time to do any of these!
Love the looks, schedule your first Stitch Fix box today. It is ok to buy yourself gifts even if this weekend is all about Dad!
Outfits for your Father’s Day Outing
Brewery Tour
From a pale ale to pale gray, this versatile hue is an easy way to lighten up your summer neutrals game. The wedges are a must because you are going to do a bit of walking on the Budweiser free tour. You will be comfy, cute and enjoying a day with Dad that cost you nothing!!
Don’t forget to complete your look with a crossbody bag that’ll keep your hands free for pints & pretzels.
Cardinals Game
Who doesn’t love a day of rooting on the cards and tossing back a few drinks with your favorite guy, Dad! Show your Dad how much you love him and take him to the Cards game. There are still tickets. 🙂
Hit it out of the park in classic summer staples. Try a pair of slip-on sneakers for a sporty, yet fashion-forward vibe. A light layer with sleeves—like a crisp cotton shirt—will protect your skin from the sun. Don’t forget to pack the Cardinal’s hat so you and dad can match!
Wear a Cardinal’s tank or T-shirt under your button-up so can easily take it off when the temps begin to rise. Tie it around your waist for a cool-girl look.
Steak Dinner Date
Let’s face it this weekend is going to be down right hot! Maybe you bypass all the outside activities that include beer and take your Dad out to a nice dinner for two.
Pair your amazing dinner with an even more spectacular outfit! A trapeze style dress is not only warm-weather appropriate, but it’s also comfy and forgiving—perfect for eating a large meal with dad. Balance the billowiness of the silhouette with platform sandals and bare shoulders. No need to over accessorize, let the dress speak for itself.
