Last Minute Valentine’s Outfits and Dates
Don’t worry if you a procrastinator like me there is still time to get a new outfit and plan the perfect Valentine’s date. To help a sister out, I have a variety of date ideas below from staying in and eating your weight in pizza to squeezing in spanks for a night…I have you covered.
Date 1: Netflix and Chill
If you are like Brad and me, the thought of calling in for pizza and vegging out your favorite Netflix’s show sounds like the perfect evening. We are currently crazy about Fixer Upper and can’t get enough of Jo Jo and Chip’s classic but ecliptic style. Also, forget cooking. Call out to Pizza Hut and enjoy fast and cheap eats starting at $9.99. Let’s not forget the romantic factor that the pizza comes in a heart.
Your perfect relaxed date would not be complete without comfy PJs. Order a new pair and call it a Valentines’ Day gift for you.
Date 2: Casual Night Out
If the hubby can talk me out into the cold, this will for sure be our plan. I doubt that St. Louis will warm up enough to get me off the couch. 🙂
If you are braver than I grab a cute top from below and pair it with your favorite boots and jeans. You will be ready for anything, but I suggest finding a local hole in the wall that won’t be too crowded. Some of my favorites include dive bars with chicken sliders; family owned pizza joints and a bowling alley that serves world class steak.
Regardless of where you go, grab a drink and have an awesome evening being comfortable in an outfit that can be worn all year long.
Date 3: Night Out On The Town
For some Valentine’s Day is a special event to be celebrated with chocolate, roses, and an excellent dinner. If you are one of these lucky women, enjoy your beautiful night out. I have found some amazing dresses that scream elegance!
After a year of marriage and 10 years of dating, the formal dates with the hubby have been downsized drastically. Our gift exchange is now necessaries like trash bags and paper towel. Yes, I actually wrap up home good items and sell them as gifts. 🙂
For those who keep their relationship more lively than me, call some nice restaurants and ask for last minute cancellations. I also suggest calling restaurants that are affiliated as it can kill two birds with one stone. You can ask about both restaurants at once!
Regardless of your date and outfit, enjoy Valentine’s Day and the most important part…loving yourself!
