Cooters Restaurant and Bar

Brad and I always travel to Clearwater in post season. Either the race for the Stanley Cup or the fight for World Series. We proudly represent our St. Louis gear and brag about our hometown. For this trip, we are lucky enough to watch the Blue right before/after Tampa plays. As you can imagine, the bars are crowded and full of life even if we are in a select few to cheer on the Blues.

Now, back to the beach. You have to watch a game in a dive bar/restaurant and do I have the best option for you. Cooters Restaurant and Bar is like the island version of Hooters. The food is cheap, and the drinks are strong. It is the perfect place to grab a game or partake in happy hour. They claim that Cooters Restaurant and Bar has the best happy hour around with discounted drinks, oysters, shrimp and wings. We grabbed a few drinks, wings and french fries while cheering on the St. Louis Blues to a win! I even taunted a few Chicago fans, as they too rep their team when on vacation. 🙂
